SYCAMORE — A 34-year-old DeKalb man charged with one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child remained in jail Tuesday on $300,000 bond.

Andrew H. Harris, of the 600 block of North Fourth Street, is accused of sexually assaulting a child younger than 13 years old between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31, court records show.

DeKalb police arrested Harris at about 3:30 p.m. Monday at the police station.

If convicted of the charge, Harris would face between six and 30 years in prison. He is next due in court Thursday.
