Police seek details about vandalism

WATERMAN – Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a mid-February vandalism spree which caused broken windows and glass at multiple Waterman and Shabbona businesses.

The vandalism occurred between the evening of Feb. 14 and the afternoon of Feb. 15 when one or more people fired what appeared to be a BB gun at a number of Waterman and Shabbona businesses, according to a Crime Stoppers news release.

Anyone with information about the crime or those involved is urged to contact DeKalb County Crime Stoppers at crimestoppers@dekalbcounty.org or call 815-895-3272. Callers need not give their name. Crime Stoppers may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
