ROUNDUP: Sycamore wins three events at home track meet

The Sycamore girls track team picked up three first-places and finished in third place with 47.83 points at its home track in a five-team meet Thursday.

Sycamore’s Sarah Grant won the shot put and Lilia Edwards took first in the long jump. Hannah Gross finished first in the pole vault.

Maggie Lalowski was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash, and Edwards was second in the 55 hurdles for the Spartans.

Zick wins two events: Kaneland senior Lauren Zick won the long jump and the 200-meter dash Thursday in the Wheaton Warrenville South Indoor Invitational as the Kaneland girls track team competed at the five-team invite.

Zick also was the runner-up in the 55 dash. Christina Delach was the runner-up in the pole vault.
