Free legal advice offered on Saturday

Published: Monday, March 3, 2014 11:31 a.m. CST

Saturday will be the next monthly Ask a Lawyer Day sponsored by the Kane County Bar Association.

On the second Saturday of each month, attorney volunteers take calls from 9 a.m. until noon and offer free consultations on legal matters. It is a chance for people to ask questions and find direction in legal matters.

Members of the public can call 630-762-1900 during the three-hour event to speak with an attorney.

Call volume is high and volunteers cannot access voice mail messages, so callers are urged to keep trying if the line is busy.
