Kishwaukee College seeks trustee applicants

MALTA – Kishwaukee College District 523 is seeking individuals to fulfill an unexpired trustee term since the resignation of a board member. State statute requires that the position be filled within 60 days.

A new trustee will be appointed April 8 to serve the remainder of the term that expires in April 2015. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, a United States citizen, and a resident of the district for at least one year.

Interested parties should submit an application, found on the college’s website at www.kishwaukeecollege.edu/go/vacant_seat. The application, a resume and letter of interest must be received by 3 p.m. March 7. They may be submitted in person, electronically to cindy.mccluskey@kishwaukeecollege.edu, or by U.S. mail to Cindy McCluskey, executive assistant to the board, Kishwaukee College, Room C2170, 21193 Malta Road, Malta, IL 60150.

Applicants selected for an interview will need to be available at 5 p.m. March 18. More information is available by calling McCluskey or college President Tom Choice at 815-825-2086, ext. 2010.
