Fred D. Warren of DeKalb, a Modern Woodmen of America regional director, recently attended the Modern Woodmen Leadership Career Institute, held at Modern Woodmen’s home office in Rock Island.

Modern Woodmen’s top managers are invited to attend the event where speakers teach attendees to become better leaders, improve results in their regions, and inspire those with whom they work. Speakers included Phil Richards, CEO of the North Star Resource Group and inductee into the 2010 National Wrestling Hall of Fame; Rich Campe, a successful entrepreneur who has started, owned and sold Verizon Cellular stores; and Jeff Peden, an international speaker known as the “Great Ideas!” guy.

Founded in 1883, Modern Woodmen of America offers financial products and fraternal member benefits to individuals and families throughout the U.S.
