ROUNDUP: H-BR girls finish Little Ten schedule with win over Somonauk

Hinckley-Big Rock girls basketball finished out the Little Ten regular season with a 49-32 victory at home over Somonauk.

Jacqueline Madden led the Royals (13-12, 6-2 Little Ten) with 18 points while Lauren Paver contributed 11 in the victory.

The Royals play Ashton-Franklin Center at home on Monday.


Sterling edges Sycamore: Sycamore fell to Sterling, 33-32, in a road dual meet on Thursday. 

Austin Armstrong won by pin while Chris Malone and Kyle Akins each recorded wins by technical fall. Andrew Larsen, Michael Beaudoin, Tyler Barton and Devin Knights also were victorious for the Spartans.

G-K triangular canceled: Genoa-Kingston’s home triangular vs. Harvard and Richmond-Burton was canceled and rescheduled for Saturday morning.

The meet has been moved due to a gym conflict and will now be held at Harvard, starting at 9 a.m.
