Highlights: Two-time all-conference selection during his prep career. Caught eight passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns as a member of his school’s Class 5A state title team as a senior.

Russell Chambers

Highlights: Earned all state honors in both 2012 and 2013. Had five sacks this past season.

Ben Compton

Shane Evans

Highlights: Evans was a high school teammate of current NIU linebacker Sean Folliard.
Evans followed in Folliard’s footsteps by enrolling early at NIU this year and has already spent the past month on campus. Evans won a Class 6A state championship with Prairie Ridge in 2011.
