Chili lunch supports service agencies

First Lutheran Church, 324 N. Third St., DeKalb, will hold its annual Chili Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

First Lutheran Church’s annual Chili Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.

The event will be held in the Social Hall, located through the double glass doors at 324 N. Third St., DeKalb. Profits from the meal will be divided equally between three local social service agencies: Hope Haven, Safe Passage and Love INC.

Hoping to please all taste buds, there will be a variety of chili, from mild to spicy, from vegetarian to very meaty, and even some without beans. There also will be cheeses, cornbread and vegetables and chili will be available for takeout. 

Tickets are available at the door for $8 per person or $20 per family. All are welcome.
