Welcome Cafe to hold morning brunch

The Welcome Café and Community Kitchen is hosting a brunch from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb, 158 N. Fourth St., DeKalb. All are welcome.  

The Café & Community Kitchen brunches will be hosted the last Saturday of each month and are sponsored by Sunn Flower Gourmet and Catering. The meal includes farm fresh egg casserole and french toast bake featuring bread from Monika’s Organic Bakery. The meal is pay-what-you-can.

The brunch also offers live music as well as a blood drive by Heartland Blood Mobile. 

Transvac will be providing transportation to and from the brunch. Pick-up points are located at: Colonial House, Hope Haven at Dresser Court and at Rushmoore, University Village Apartments, Gideon Court Apartments and Golden Years Plaza.
