People looking for advice on how to modify their diet and lifestyle in order to lose weight can get tips in a presentation at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St.
“Making Weight Loss Work,” a presentation by registered dietician Kate Olson, will focus on ways people can succeed in weight loss and weight maintenance, and ways to set practical goals and meet them.
It is free and open to the public.
Olson is a registered dietician and certified diabetes educator who specializes in prediabetes and diabetes management, weight-loss strategies including behavior modification, and family nutrition. She also is the author of the Daily Chronicle’s “Real Nutrition” blog.
