DeKALB – Bowl for Kids' Sake will raise money for the Family Service Agency's Big Brothers Big Sisters of DeKalb at events in February and March.

Mardi Gras Lanes in DeKalb will host the bowling fundraisers Feb. 28, March 1, and March 2, while Idle Hour Lanes in Sandwich will host the fundraiser March 9, according to a news release.

The fundraisers support about 65 percent of Big Brothers Big Sisters' annual budget. The program matches children with adult mentors, who help the children do better in school and have a positive self outlook.

For the fundraisers, community members are asked to put together teams of four to six people, with each team member raising at least $75 in individual pledges. The team is able to choose the time and bowling alley that best suits its schedule. For more information or to register, visit fsadekalbcounty.org or call 815-758-8616.
