Mark your calendars for the hilarious Ken Ludwig comedy, “Fox on the Fairway,” presented by Indian Valley Theatre.
This hilarious romp pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it’s a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers’ classics. It’s a madcap adventure about love, life and man’s eternal love affair with golf.
Tom Merkel of Sandwich portrays Bingham, the manager of the Quail Valley Country Club, which is locked in a heated rivalry with a country club headed by the irritating Dickie (Chuck Gebbia of Sandwich). Dickie makes a huge personal bet with Bingham over the tournament that is about to tee off. However, what Dickie doesn’t realize is that Bingham has a trick up his sleeve that even Bingham didn’t expect!
