The Indian Creek girls basketball team defeated Moose-heart, 46-14, on Wednesday night in Shabbona. 

Alexis VanWyhe led the Timberwolves (9-9) with 13 points.

“We were a little rusty. We hadn’t done anything since Saturday,” Indian Creek coach Paul Muchmore said. “We have to keep getting better and working hard. All in all it was a good effort.” Indian Creek faces Paw Paw tonight.

LaSalle-Peru tops Kaneland: Kaneland fell to LaSalle-Peru, 2,879-2,375.

Christie Crews led the Knights with a 476 series, including games of 181 and 150. Dominique Lee recorded a 450 series and a high game of 170.
