Winter storm warning issued through Sunday night

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning effective through 6 p.m. Sunday for DeKalb County. The area could see 5 to 10 inches of additional snow on top of what's already fallen.

Snow will begin Saturday afternoon and continue into Sunday. Periods of heavy snow will occur at times, along with 15 to 30 mph northwest winds.

The area could see record-low temperatures beginning Sunday night, with wind chill readings as low as 40 to 50 below zero starting Monday.
