SYCAMORE – The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is accepting donations to build its endowment.

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, now in its 37th concert season, is funded by grants, contributions, and fundraising, with lesser support from ticket sales and advertising, according to a news release.

The Douglas C. & Lynn M. Roberts Family Foundation has agreed to match the first $20,000 in contributions to the KSO Endowment Fund. The endowment has surpassed $130,000, excluding matching funds, toward its goal of $200,000.

For inquiries about planned gifts and other contributions to the KSO Endowment Fund, contact Dan Templin, DeKalb County Community Foundation, at 815-748-5383 or dan@dekalbccf.org.

Contributions to the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra Endowment Fund can be made via the DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Ave, Sycamore, or at www.kishorchestra.org.
