Crime Stoppers focuses on two burglaries

Police are seeking information about a burglary at Lehan’s Drug Store and a car that was burglarized.

A microwave and Christmas items were stolen Sunday from a 2002 Chevrolet that went into a snow bank at Somonauk and Phillips roads in rural Hinckley, according to a news release. The vehicle was left for hours in the snow bank, and police discovered it with a smashed window and the items gone.

Lehan’s Drug Store was burglarized between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 7 a.m. Dec. 4. Money and other items were stolen.

Anyone with information should contact DeKalb County Crime Stoppers at 815-895-3272 or email crimestoppers@dekalbcounty.org. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 and reports can be made anonymously.
