Federated children present Christmas story

Published: Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

The children of The Federated Church in Sycamore will present the traditional Christmas story during the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

This year’s presentation has an unusual twist in that the children will be photographed ahead of time in appropriate costumes of Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds, kings, etc., and the photos will be made into a Power-Point presentation.

On Sunday, the children can sit with their parents and watch themselves as the narrative unfolds. The community is invited to attend.

Federated Church is located at 612 W. State St., with parking available behind the building, off of Greeley Street.
