Indian Creek at

Hinckley-Big Rock

7:15 p.m., Dec. 12

Hinckley-Big Rock is coming off an appearance in the sectional finals. Indian Creek has one of the better players in the area in Josie Diehl.

These two could finish near the top of the Little Ten.

DeKalb at Montini Christmas Tournament

Dec. 23 through Dec. 28

Some of the state’s best will compete in Lombard, and DeKalb will certainly be tested.

Among the teams in the field are Marian Catholic, last year’s Class 4A state champ, and Rolling Meadows, the Class 4A runner-up.

Genoa-Kingston at Sycamore

7 p.m., Jan. 3

The Cogs, who are now competing in Class 3A, will make the short drive down Route 23 to face a potential postseason opponent.

Rockford Boylan at DeKalb

7:30 p.m., Jan. 4

It’s just another tough Class 4A game in DeKalb’s loaded nonconference schedule.

DeKalb vs. Sycamore at NIU Convocation Center

6 p.m., Jan. 31

This game is always at the top of the list of area matchups. This time, a more experienced Sycamore team may be able to give the Barbs a run for their money.
