Letter: Obama vs. Gettysburg

Published: Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 5:30 a.m. CST

To the Editor:

Why did President Obama snub Gettysburg and Abraham Lincoln’s historic speech?

It’s really quite simple: words. I believe words kept him hiding in Washington.

They being, “A government of the people, by the people and for the people.”
