Indian Creek volleyball defeated Paw Paw, 25-15, 25-17 in the Class 1A Paw Paw Regional quarterfinals on Monday.

Emma Goodrich had six kills and Josie Diehl had five kills for the Timberwolves (13-20). Rebekka Bohene dished out 12 assist and Bailey Martenson had 12 digs in the win.

“We had 10 aces on the evening so I think we came out serving strong, but we also missed eight serves so we’re looking for a little more consistency there,” Indian Creek coach Stephanie Crutcher said. “We did a nice job of spreading our attack.”

Indian Creek plays Sterling Newman Catholic Tuesday in the regional semifinals.

Hiawatha falls: Hiawatha lost to Faith Lutheran in three sets.

The Hawks lost, 19-25, 25-22, 25-19, in the Class 1A Harvest Christian Academy Regional quarterfinals.
