Big Brothers Big Sisters of DeKalb County presents its first Cooking For Kids’ Sake fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Hall in Sycamore.

Cooking for Kids’ Sake is a family-friendly event featuring young chefs from around the area. Community members are invited to try sample-sized portions of the chefs’ best dishes. All funds raised will go directly toward Big Brothers Big Sisters of DeKalb County. Tickets to the event cost $25 for adults and $10 for children age 10 and younger.

Chefs enter their best dishes in three divisions: Middle School, High School and Family. Each cook is responsible for purchasing ingredients for the recipe they serve. If you are interested joining the fun and becoming a chef, call Courtney at 815-758-8616.
