The Church to start Sunday evening service

Published: Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

Starting Nov. 3, The Church in DeKalb will add an evening worship service as another option for members and visitors to gather and celebrate the life, death, burial, resurrection and reign of Jesus.

This “Second Service” will begin at 6 p.m. and will be identical to the 10 a.m. service in Gospel-centered song and sermon. Child care will be available at this service as well.

Offering this Sunday evening service will allow those who work in the morning or Northern Illinois University students who commute home for the weekend, and return to DeKalb Sunday evening to still gather to worship with their church body. The Church in DeKalb is a growing family of believers that desires to provide more room and time options for those desiring to join in and hear the Good News.

The Church in DeKalb is located at 425 Fisk Ave., DeKalb. For more information, call 815-501-9826 or visit www.reachingdekalb.net.
