Sycamore-Kaneland draws 4,000 people

Sycamore defeated Kaneland, 31-21, in Week 8.

The Sycamore-Kaneland football game on Friday drew almost 4,000 people according to Sycamore athletic director Chauncey Carrick.

Additional bleachers were brought in to accomodate the expected crowd. Sycamore defeated Kaneland, 31-21, in a battle of 7-0 teams playing for the Northern Illinois Big 12 East championship. 

Carrick said paid attendance was officially 3,605. Counting parents of the senior class and passes, Carrick estimated attendance pushed 4,000.  

Sycamore travels to Yorkville and Kaneland plays Morris on the road in Week 9.
