Despite a different lineup, the co-op went 11 for 11 in event victories.

“The reason we’re winning all these meets that we have is because of the depth of the team,” co-op coach Leah Eames said. “You can’t win a meet with just individual wins. This meet was another example of that.”

Kayleigh Kozlowski won the 50-yard freestyle and 100 breaststroke as the co-op’s only double-winner. Sam LeBlanc took first in the 500 free in a career-best time while Emily Cook won the 100 backstroke in a season-best time.

Sophomores Jensen Keck (100 free), Alexa Miller (100 butterfly), Kylie Olson (200 individual medley) and Bailey Flemming (200 free) also took home individual victories.

The four sophomores combined to win all three relays as well for DeKalb-Sycamore (8-0).

“Everything keeps building and as we get closer to the championship season, every meet gets us more confidence,” Eames said.
