Low-cost pet vaccine clinic set in Genoa

Spay Illinois will host a low-cost pet vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeKalb County Animal Welfare Shelter, 16173 Base Line Road in Genoa. Appointments are required; call 877-475-7729 to schedule.

The clinic will offer one-year and three-year rabies vaccines, 5-in-1 and 6-in-1 distemper combos, Bordetella, Lyme and Leptospirosis vaccines, heartworm testing and preventative medication, microchipping, FVRCP distemper combo for cats, FeLV vaccines, FeLV/FIV testing and fecal testing. Prices range from $15 to $35. There are no exam fees.

Payment must be by cash or Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. Personal checks will not be accepted. No income or residency restrictions apply.
