DCEDC dinner features Lyle Heidemann

The DeKalb County Economic Development Corp. will hold its 26th annual dinner and State of DeKalb County from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Duke Ellington Ballroom, Northern Illinois University.

A special presentation will be given by Lyle Heidemann, an NIU alumnus and former president and CEO of True Value Corp.

Heidemann will share his experience in refocusing organizations on business models that address extraordinary competition by clearly defining customer needs and delivering exceptional service.

The cost is $100 for members and $125 for nonmembers. Register online at http://dcedc.org/event/annual-dinner by Oct. 14.
