Published: Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

The Sycamore Woman's Club invites interested men and women to join them on a trip to St. John, Ind. to tour the Shrine of Christ's Passion.

The chartered bus will leave Sycamore at 8 a.m. Oct. 15 and return about 5:30 p.m. the same day.

The shrine is an inspiring location with 40 life-sized bronze statues depicting the time from the Last Supper through Christ's ascension. A brochure is available for more details.

The path through the shrine is about a half-mile long; golf carts have been reserved for those unable to walk that far. After lunch, the group will tour nearby St. James the Evangelist Church.

Reservations are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $35 per person, which includes a box lunch from the Country Store. For more information or to make a reservation, call Frankie at 815-899-0494.
