BIG ROCK – A 25-year-old Big Rock man is due in DeKalb County court Oct. 11 on allegations he had sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.

Andrew Tamblingson, of the 200 block of Oak Street, was charged with criminal sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of a child after having sexual contact with the girl in August, court records show. The more serious charge, criminal sexual abuse, typically is punishable by probation or up to three years in prison.

Tamblingson surrendered to sheriff’s police Friday and posted bail, according to a news release.
