NIU Annuitants to attend Open House Chicago

Reservations are being taken for the Oct. 19 trip to Open House Chicago 2013 for members of the Northern Illinois University Annuitants Association and friends.

The Chicago Architecture Foundation will present the third annual Open House Chicago, a free behind-the-scenes look at many of the city’s great places and spaces. More than 140 buildings will be open on Oct. 19. Visitors can explore repurposed mansions, hidden rooms, sacred spaces, private clubs, iconic theaters, offices, hotels and more.

The motorcoach will depart NIU at 8:45 a.m. to travel to Millennium Park in Chicago and return from the park at 5:15 p.m. The trip cost is $20.13.
