Monday deadline for dinner theater

Published: Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

Reservations for PR Productions’ next murder mystery dinner are due Monday.

“A Day in the Life of Murder” will be performed on Oct. 11 and 12 at the Fox Valley Community Center, 1406 Suydam Road in Sandwich. Dinner begins each night at 7 p.m., with the performance to follow.

Much of this performance will be improvised, taking suggestions from the audience on key aspects of the story line. Director Christopher Roe said that the cast won’t even know who the murderer is.

“We are literally practicing every scenario we can think of,” he said in a news release. “But, still, we have no idea who will suggest what outcome and who will be the murderer.”

The cast features seven actors and actresses from Sandwich, Somonauk, Plano, Sheridan, Oswego and DeKalb.

Tickets cost $25 each and include a buffet dinner. Dinner includes baked chicken, Italian beef, lasagna, potato salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, California vegetables, coleslaw, lettuce salad and dressing, rolls and butter, and dessert. A cash bar is available at the performance, and coffee, lemonade and water are included.

To reserve tickets, visit www.wewantpr.com or call 888-395-0797. Show-only tickets, which do not include dinner or dessert, are available for $12. Reservations must be made by Monday.
