Paving work to start at Sycamore Community Park

Published: Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 5:30 a.m. CST

SYCAMORE – The east entrance to Sycamore Community Park off State Street will close Monday for about two weeks as part of the parking lot is repaved.

The west entrance will remain open as workers repave the parking lot areas east and south of the clubhouse, according to a news release. The Sycamore Park District included this work in the city of Sycamore's paving bid to get a better price, the release states. If money is available next year, the area west of the cart barn and clubhouse will be repaved.

During the work, more than 100 parking spaces will remain open west and southwest of the cart barn and clubhouse.
