Loren Goodrich earns Growmark scholarship

Loren Goodrich, a crop sciences major with a focus in biotechnology and molecular biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is the recipient of a scholarship from Growmark Inc. She is the daughter of Jared and Cary Joe Goodrich of Shabbona.

This year, the regional agricultural supply and grain marketing cooperative presented 46 scholarships totaling more than $44,000 to students majoring in agriculture or accounting from 16 colleges and universities. The scholarship program has been in place for more than 50 years.

Growmark is a regional cooperative providing agriculture-related products and services, as well as grain marketing in 43 states and Ontario, Canada. Growmark owns the FS trademark, which is used by affiliated member cooperatives. More information is available at
