Dance to benefit Kirkland firefighters

KIRKLAND – The Kirkland Community Fire District Association is hosting a fundraiser Saturday with proceeds to go toward training and equipment for its volunteer members.

The annual dance will start at 7:30 p.m. at 3891 Route 72 in Kirkland, according to a news release.

The Brian Lavender Band will play starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7.50 at the door.

The event includes food, beer, silent auctions, a bake sale and giveaways.
