DeKALB – A section of Lincoln Highway as well as First Street will be shut down for a short time Thursday evening for DeKalb High School’s annual homecoming parade.

The parade is expected to step off at 6 p.m. from the intersection of Lincoln Highway and South Fourth Street. From there it will travel west on Lincoln Highway to First Street and then north to Clinton Rosette Middle School, where it will end.

School officials expected the parade to last about an hour.

An assembly will follow at the school’s stadium.
