Garden story time explores autumn

The Sycamore History Museum is offering two Garden Story Times with an autumn theme in September.

The Sycamore History Museum invites children ages 3 to 6 to take a closer look at fall at two free Garden Story Times in September.

“Our summer story times were so much fun, we decided to offer two fall story times. The classes will be led by Cheryl Larson and Marge Johnson, who did such a wonderful job during the summer story times,” Michelle Donahoe, executive director of the museum, said in a news release. “They are outside exploring, while enjoying the pleasures of books, songs and crafts.”

The first story time, Terrific Trees, is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The second class, Fall Changes, is 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 19. Registration is suggested. Both classes will be held at the Sycamore History Museum, 1730 N. Main St. in Sycamore.
