Prairie Echoes prepares for Christmas show

During September and October, Prairie Echoes Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will learn Christmas music for the DuPage Men’s Barbershop Chorus show, to be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Dec. 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle.

The chorus will sing some familiar Christmas songs and also learn some new ones from different regions of the world such as Jamaica and Trinidad.

Any women who like to sing are welcome to rehearsals, including moms and daughters, cousins, family and friends. The style of singing is fun for women of all ages, high school and college too, whether you sing high or low, in between, melody or harmony, there is a place for you in Prairie Echoes Chorus. 

Join them from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays throughout September and October at Sycamore United Methodist Church, 160 Johnson Ave., Sycamore. There will be no meeting on Sept. 17. For more information, call 815-761-5956.
