Letter: Still too hot in Sycamore classrooms

Published: Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor:

On Aug. 28, 61/2 years after the Sycamore “Building Equity” referendum passed; it was 95 degrees in a first-grade classroom at West School.

On that same day, it was quite comfortable at North Grove School; at South Prairie School; at the Middle School; at the Administrative Center; and in the High School auditorium, so as not to damage the new grand piano on the stage.

Shame on us.
