The Neverly Brothers are scheduled to play a free concert on the Sandwich Fair grandstand at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
They will take listeners on a musical tour through rock ‘n’ roll history. The Neverly Brothers play all the rock 'n’ roll and rhythm and blues hits from the 1950s American pioneers to the 1964 British Invasion.
They are not an oldies cover band, nor are they a tribute act. They are a unique national touring retro-rock revue. Dressed in period-perfect matching suits from each era, and playing electrifying versions of all the hits, these rockers have a look and a sound that make audiences feel like they are witnessing rock history unfold.
Their repertoire consists of renditions of early hits by Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Dave Clark Five and many other artists who shaped rock 'n' roll from 1955 through 1965.
