Nicole Anne Lamphere and Zachary Lee Frazer, both of Rockford, were married on July 19, 2013, at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora.

The daughter of Dave and Mary Lamphere of DeKalb, the bride is a 2005 graduate of DeKalb High School and a 2009 graduate of Northern Illinois University. She is employed as a social studies teacher at Jefferson High School in Rockford.

The son of Terry and Karen Frazer of Caledonia, the groom is a 2002 graduate of Belvidere High School and a 2006 graduate of Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. He is employed as a social studies teacher at Auburn High School in Rockford.

Bridesmaids were Erica Adkins of DeKalb, Ami Goswami of Chicago, Christina Lamphere of DeKalb and Jill Mary Campbell of Montgomery.

Jake Frazer of Caledonia served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Brent Simross of Cherry Valley, Zachary Lamphere of DeKalb and Brent West of Astoria, Ore.

The wedding reception was held at Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora. The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The couple resides in Rockford.

50th anniversary

Carroll and Marilyn Donoho of Paw Paw will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 31 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 19 Perry Road, Lee.

The couple was married Aug. 31, 1963, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville.

Marilyn is a professional seamstress and Carroll is retired from Country Financial.

The couple has two children, Kevin and Brenda Donoho of Mahomet, and Rich and Anita Ott of Jacksonville, Ill. They also have five grandchildren, Kathleen, Dale, Hannah, Catherine and Geoffrey.

70th birthday

Bill Abbott of Cortland will celebrate his 70th birthday at an open house hosted by his family from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Cortland Community Park.

Bill was born in DeKalb on July 29, 1943, to John and Ida Abbott. Bill married Terri Lewis on Dec. 1, 1962.

They have two children, Bill (Michelle) Abbott of Cortland and Connie (Mark) Lee of O’Fallon, Mo.; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Bill Heyer) Abbott of Rochelle, Jenni (David) Hensiek of Florissant, Mo., and Jonathan (Brittney) Lee of St. Peters, Mo., and three great-grandchildren, DJ and Makayla Hensiek and Bryce Heyer.

80th birthday

Wilbur Zekoff will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at the Kingston Friendship Center, 120 S. Main St., Kingston.

Cake, appetizers and drinks will be provided.

Joan Benner of Lee will celebrate her 80th birthday at a family gathering at a later date.

Joan was born Aug. 20, 1933. She is a retired registered nurse and a farm wife. She also volunteered at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. She has been married to Ed Benner for 58 years.

She has three children, Kathy (Rich) Sheahan of Sycamore, Ken (Kristin) Benner of Hollywood, Fla., and Kristen (Bryan) Edecker of Lee. She also has three grandchildren, Brian, Tim and Amy Sheahan.

No gifts please, but cards would be appreciated.
