The Performing Arts Academy is taking registration for fall classes. Semester 1 begins Aug. 26 and runs through Jan. 25. Classes are offered in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, tumbling, pom and cheer, Pilates and aerial dance.

The school will be open for fall registration from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. The public can take a tour of the studio, visit with staff and register for classes at this time. Registration also is available by phone or online through www.sycamoreballet.com.

The school strives to educate and develop students with a pre-professional background in dance. The curriculum is designed to progress students at a reasonable pace while working in a fun, positive environment.

The Performing Arts Academy has two large dance studios, two spacious waiting areas, a watch window for each studio, a dressing room and a dancewear boutique. Classes are offered to children ages 3 and older. Adult classes also are available. For more information, call 815-901-7653 or visit www.sycamoreballet.com.
