YMCA to host Tuesdays on the Town

SYCAMORE – Downtown Sycamore will be open for fun, games and prizes as part of Discover Sycamore's Tuesdays on the Town series.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today in downtown Sycamore. Booths will be open along State Street. Somonauk Street and a portion of Elm Street will be closed.

Families who attend can expect arts, crafts and games for children. The Kishwaukee YMCA's Coordinated Approach to Child Health Curriculum will hold Dragon Tail games.

Other games include a rubber duck game hosted by the YMCA Aquatics Department. Bounce houses and interactive exercises also will be part of the festivities.

Participants can be given a small passport they can use to enter drawings for prizes when they visit each booth.
