Our View: Thumbs up to the baby boom generation
Thumbs up: To the baby boom generation. The members of this generation – people born between 1946 and 1964 – have helped bring change to American society each time they’ve reached a new stage of life. With 10,000 of them turning 65 each day, they already are beginning to change the way we think about what traditionally has been considered retirement age. Although they are getting older, many members of this generation are more important now than they ever were, finding themselves helping both their children and their aging parents.
