DeKALB – Westbound lanes on Interstate 88 were closed for about 15 minutes Tuesday while firefighters put out a car on fire, DeKalb Fire Chief Eric Hicks said.
No one was injured, but the car was destroyed, Hicks said.
Firefighters were called to the scene on the right shoulder, just east of Peace Road, about 11:30 a.m. The car was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.
Hicks said investigators had not determined the cause of the fire Tuesday afternoon.
