Walk-in registration set for D-428 schools

Published: Saturday, July 20, 2013 5:30 a.m. CDT

DeKALB – Parents can register students for DeKalb schools in person Wednesday if they have not already done so. DeKalb School District 428 is hosting a walk-in registration at DeKalb High School, 501 W. Dresser Road, from 7 to 9 a.m., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m.

Parents can already log on to the district’s website and register their student. Staff will be available during the walk-in registration to help parents with the online registration or English translation. Elementary students who were not registered by June 7 are considered “inactive” in the district’s system. As a result, district officials cannot guarantee school placement until mid-August.

Parents can reactivate their student and complete registration at Wednesday’s walk-in registration.
