Chamber to host Fourth Street Family Fun Fest

The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce will host a Fourth Street Family Fun Fest from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the DeKalb Education Center parking lot, located at 901 S. Fourth St.

This free, family-friendly event is open to the public and will provide fun for everybody. Attendees will enjoy free food and refreshments, free haircuts for kids and adults, face painting, wacky hair, fun kids games, DeKalb fire truck, DeKalb police car and motorcycle, DeKalb Township snow plow, skateboarding demonstration, raffle prizes and more.

Participating businesses include Amanda’s Spa and Beauty, American Midwest Bank, Barb City Automotive, Barb City YMCA, Brian Scholle – State Farm Insurance, Children’s Learning Center, Culligan of DeKalb, city of DeKalb, DeKalb Park District, DeKalb School District 428, DeKalb Township, Flippin’ Eggs, Jim’s Body Shop, Lehan Drugs, Ritz’s Southtown, Stewart Family Chiropractic and The Growing Place.
