First Congregational Church sets annual barbecue dinner

The First Congregational United Church of Christ will host its annual Pork Chop/Chicken Dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 7 at 615 N. First St., DeKalb.

The meal costs $12 or $5 for a children’s hot dog meal. The menu includes a choice of chicken or pork chop grilled to perfection by 5B’s, baked beans, cole slaw, applesauce and beverage.

Seating will be available inside, or pick up your meal at the drive through. Carry-outs also are available.

All proceeds will go to benefit local and regional social service agencies. Extra donations will be accepted. For information, call 815-758-0691.
