PLANO – A crash at the intersection of Little Rock and Miller roads in Plano left a 30-year-old Sandwich woman with minor injuries.

On Wednesday, Mirlinda Zulbeari, 22, of the 100 block of East Ninth Street, Sandwich, was driving her 2002 Toyota Corolla on Little Rock Road when she rear-ended a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox attempting to make a left turn on Miller Road, Plano police said.

The Chevrolet was driven by Melissa C. Konow, 30, of the 500 block of South Center Street, Plano, authorities said. She was taken to Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich. She left the hospital in good condition on the same day, according to hospital officials.

Zulbeari was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She will appear in court July 10 at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville.
