SYCAMORE – A 31-year-old man convicted of stalking a Sycamore woman was back in jail Monday on allegations that he damaged a car parked in a driveway at her address.

Christopher Thodos of Corralville, Iowa, was ordered to stay away from a home in the 900 block of Meadow Lane in Sycamore in February 2012.

About two months later, he was sentenced to two years of probation and six months of electronic home monitoring for sending his wife several threatening text messages in December 2011, court records show.

More recently, he was arrested for allegedly letting the air out of both passenger-side tires of a Honda Civic on April 29. He was charged with violation of an order of protection, unlawful trespass to a vehicle and criminal trespass to property.

His bond is set at $150,000, which requires posting $15,000 while the case is pending. He is next due in court Thursday.
