Jennifer Pearce, a 10-year veteran in the powersports industry, has joined the Open Air Powersports dealership in Sycamore as its general manager.

Pearce has extensive sales, service and parts experience in the motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle retail industry and is an avid motorcyclist.

“I am thrilled to join the Open Air team,” Pearce said in a news release. “Now with the two big brands of Kawasaki and Yamaha, plus KYMCO scooters, we have a very strong customer offering for on- and off-road vehicles, repair service, parts and accessories.”

Open Air Powersports, a full-service dealership at 1330 E. State St., recently expanded to carry Yamaha’s brand of motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, side-by-side and scooter vehicles in addition to Kawasaki and KMYCO vehicles.

The dealership will host a Yamaha Grand Opening celebration from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday to showcase the full product line. The event will include food, beverages, door prizes and special offers.
